I’d had more success with darker, maltier ales when brewing with the Pinter, so this time I try a red ale and bottle some for the first time.
Being English, I got well behind the boys at the Euros by brewing ‘Alexa, Play Three Lions’, an English pale ale in time for the England vs. Germany match in the second round.
My father-in-law knows I’m always keen to try new beers and he kindly picked up a few for me when near Thames Side Brewery.
As a bonus for sending referrals ‘The Greater Good’, the company behind the Pinter brewing vessel, were sending out a ‘fresh press’ pack called ‘Guestlist’, unavailable on the public shop.
