I’m soon to have my first experience volunteering at a beer festival.
Lets see if it will be my last!
Although I’ve worked behind a bar in my youth, that was some time ago now and my mental arithmetic, speed and friendly countenance have certainly degraded.
We can only hope the beer knowledge will make up for it at Oxted Beer Festival, where I will be of service in two stints, on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon, both situated behind the main bar. Come by and say hello!
I’ve previously written about how there are two large local festivals on the same weekend, Godstoneberry and Oxted Beer Festival.
Luckily, it seems I should have the opportunity to attend both events next month and can compare the two.
