I am glad that the craft beer revolution has reached my new manor, as there’s a specialist beer store in the town of Oxted, Surrey.
Handily situated several long paces from the station, Hop Stop help to fulfil services previously rendered by Clapton Craft in Finsbury Park, London.
It’s a great looking shop, with a carefully curated selection of beer, which is not too overwhelming in the way it is laid out. There’s a wide selection of local beers from tiny breweries, classic Belgian beers and cans of the hottest craft beer currently being produced.
The store celebrated their 3rd Birthday at the weekend, so I thought it was as good a time as any to visit clutching a stash of vouchers I’d received as a gift.

I went for a Kellerbier by Buxton, Velo Dog from Gun and a Stout from Marble. All good stuff. After these bevvies I filled the growler with more Velo Dog and was on my way.
