It was with great pleasure that I joined beer writers GH Hurel and Arezki Yaïche from Top of the Hops to attend the first day of Salon de l’Agriculture in Paris. I was at the event to delve deeper into French craft beer.
Held in Stoke Newington’s Abney Hall for it’s second year, 'Stokey Beer Fest' is run by the local Seven Sisters brewery, who made sure the venue was jam-packed with local breweries as well as more unfamiliar names from further afield.
As dry January neared it's conclusion, in a moment of sober impulsiveness I signed up for a beer-fuelled half-marathon. It was not long before I braved the cold and trekked south of the river to Wimbledon Common for Street Child’s inaugural Craft Half.
A review of each of the 6 collaboration beers in the Fuller's & Friends beer box which was now available in Waitrose. Each beer concept and recipe is designed at selected craft breweries throughout the UK, then it is brewed for production at Fuller's Griffin brewery in London.
