I am very glad that Clapton Craft opened a beer shop near Finsbury Park station late last year, situated just along Stroud Green Road. A very noticeable step up in quality from other shops in the area.
They have a great stock of beers, both local and worldwide, and even a decent selection of wine and some selected spirits. As well as being friendly and very helpful, they also provide the option of getting fresh beer poured into bottles or ‘growlers‘ from the taps they have there.
I was lucky enough yesterday to get a few beer related gifts from Her – a Growler and a voucher to fill the beaut up! The growler holds 1.89 litres, and it looks like it costs around £12-£15 to fill depending on the beers available. I will be studying the tap list over the next few weeks before I make my choice.
I am assuming this now makes me a true ‘beer geek’, and not just an enthusiast?
